Duffle Bag for a soccer player
#1
Made this duffle bag for my grandson to go in his Easter basket. The bag was an UFO from many, many years ago. The pocket was missing. (It was cut out at some point) So I had this soccer fabric around so I used it. I could only find enough letters to spell out LIONS in white so I took a permanent marker and colored them in yellow. He plays on a school team so he needs to carry his uniform, shoes, ball etc to school with him.
The pattern is a very old-1986-McCalls pattern. I'm sure that there are similar ones in the pattern books. It cost $4.75! At that time it probably seemed like a lot but since I found p.j. patterns for $18.95 last week.....Have to wait for a pattern sale for sure.
