Cool Duh, a machine quilting disaster

Ok, so I pieced a small table topper. Bargello....Fall colors. Sandwiched. Basted... I usually hand quilt but I didn;t want to hand quilt this. Wanted to try some machine quilting. Figured I would do SID, simple...Did half of it. Feed dogs not lowered. SHould work, right??? Up one seam and down the other...Lovely job, read sarcasm... It is so wonky, it amost looks like it is on point....<sigh> Now I get to rip it all out and do it over again.....

I don't know if this will help now, but I always use my walking foot for any quilting except for fmq. Sorry you have to tear it out..yuck.

I have always learned that nothing is as simple as it looks.
