I need some motivation, please. I started making a ragged flannel quilt and I don't really like it. I like the fabric, but I should have picked something different for the pattern I chose.

Normally I would just let it sit, but I paid a lot of money for the fabric and I want to see it as a quilt.

I thought if I saw some pictures of some finished flannel quilts it would get my motivation going again!

Melissa--I have a bunch on my web site page. They are also posted in the picture section--if you do a search for "barnbum" they wil be easier to find.

My website is www.littlechurchminis.com Just go to the "Quilts for sale" page... I love making ragged flannels!! Good luck!

Here's a picture of a small one I did for my grandson a couple of years ago. I also made one for a friend that was flannel blocks that were 10". I sewed the layers of each block together with a big star and then sewed around the block just inside the seam line.

Karla and BJ yor quilts are beautiful!

The book I'm using is called "Ragged Edge Flowers." It's a little different because the blocks are all cut on the bias. I guess I should just finish it so I can post a pic.

Here's the one I did. Each colour had a separate quilted motif in the middle with the whole back being beige. The colours in the photo are a little off from the true autmn palatte. I quilted each square before putting it all together.

Here's my I Spy/rag/denim combination quilt I did for my grandson. It's VERY heavy but he loves dragging it around.
