This past weekend I went to a quilt show in Fredricksburg, TX and I saw the Alto's "Quick Cut 2" cutting system demo and I bought one for myself. Boy does it make straight cuts. I've been cutting up a storm, Iam doing the happy dance. The quilts at the show where gorgeous unfortunately I forgot to bring my camera.

Oh wow, I live in Pipe Creek. I didn't realize there was a quilt show going on. Sorry I missed it. Have fun with your Alto's "Quick Cut 2" cutting system.

That is really cool. I haven't been to a quilt show in awhile... I would love to see that in action. I watched the videos on their site and it looks really intriguing..

They don't give too many details though.. what kind of angles does it cut? I've been wanting to get some wedge rulers for making circle quits and whatnot... does it have some sort of degree markings on it?

How big is the mat? Is it self healing? Just too cool. That's all I got to say about that. I'm wondering if I should drive out to the Georgia Quilt show in October lol.

The accuquilt go is different from the Alto Quick Cut 2.
There are a few videos on Alto's website that show it in action. http://quiltcut.com/online_demo_flash.html

Of all the purchases I've made for my sewing room, the Alto Cut is in my top 5 best purchases EVER.
