Has anyone used this and did it work out okay? Mine came with a bamboo presser for seams. I had seen it online for $6.95. Joann's had it for $9.95. But I thought since I had a 50% off coupon it would work out okay with no shipping involved. Then I got it home and had this wooden presser with it. So maybe that was why it cost more.

I have a Dresden Ruler and it worked well for me. Mine didn't come with a bamboo presser but I have one and used it while doing the hand sewing. It made it more portable so I could make sure the blocks were flat as I worked.

I love mine! I use the bamboo presser for other things too. The best thing about the ruler is that you can make Dresden Plates in many sizes. And they're so easy. Have fun!

I use the Darlene Zimmerman one. It is great. Make sure you look at the Missouri Star Quilt tutorial. Their method is easy.
