Yes I like the quilt pattern from fabric mom.com too! It looks real easy and could different fabric.

The Take 5 pattern is a very quick & easy one - no seams to match and it goes together so easy. You can add borders or not. Have fun with whatever you decide to make.

My second quilt was made using fat quarters, and this is probably the easiest quilt you will ever make. All you do is sew fat quarters together. Other than cutting your batting and backing down to size, there is no cutting at all. Here is a lapquilt sized one one I made for my son for Christmas one year, but you can simply make it 3 X 5 fat quarters instead of 2 X 4 and it makes a twin sized quilt. When I made my first one, it was a twin sized for my grandaughter. Hope this helps! :c)

M'liss Rae Hawley More Fat Quarter Quilts ( Triple Rail on Point ) is one of My favorite. Withe your colors and prints I would add a western print or paisley for the wide outer border GOOD LUCK

Turning twenty is a great way to go, I have used that pattern 4 times now...It's a good one, seems 3 of the 4 times I have used it was for impromptu quilts.
It does require 20 fat quarters..if you make it 72in. X 84in. (per pattern)
