What is a fair price for a FW on ebay - providing the machine is in good to excellent condition? The prices vary so much and some of the machines look or are described much the same.
Thanks I have been watching them on ebay.

Have you checked "completed listings"? That is a more accurate gauge of prices than listings.
I got mine on Ebay. The seller didn't get his price and ended the sale. However, he contacted me and told me I could get it for my bid was the highest (212.00)
I ended up getting a great deal. It had the original case, manual, and lots of stuff with it, even the tray that goes in the case.
It's really a matter of being vigilant. I looked for a long time before I got mine but am glad I did.
Be sure to check the seller's score. Even though Ebay protects you it's still a lot less hassle if you work with someone reputable.
Good luck!
PS. A fair price ?? I don't know. It really depends on your wallet. Somewhere in the 200 range sounds good to me but I've seen them go for much higher.
I got mine for $190 because the seller couldn't spell! He had Featherweight really messed up so as a consequence I only bid against one person.
I LOVE when that happens. I have been able to get some really great deals that way. My husband says that I am wasting my time when I go through all of the listings, but I find really neat things that way. Besides it is my time to waste any way I want to.Originally Posted by RevPam
