Edyta Sitar

We had Edyta Sitar come and give us lesson yesterday and today at our Quilt Guild.......What an amazing lady........ :) She is so personalable. :)
She taught us how to do the Dresden Star. Her method is so simple. Each step she has each group come up and checks to make sure they are doing it right.....If you need help, she comes to your sewing machine and shows you.....When it is time to iron, she calls the group up again, to show you her technique.......If you ever get a chance to take her class, do it.....
She came to our Quild meeting with 80 of her quilts, and I was so lucky to get chosen to help hold them up.......Each quilt had a story behind them.......Such beautiful work.......After we were done she let us 4 girls get a free pattern for helping her. She is gonna make something for our Quild Quilt show next year......What a wonderful person :)

My LQS hosted her a couple of summers ago and I felt the same way. What a beautiful person! I loved listening to her talk about her quilting inspiration...she's so family oriented......I'd encourage anyone who has an opportunity to meet her and hear her - go for it!
