Default Eleanor Burns quilters dream

Did any one else go? It was held at the Weston Inn in Itasca, Ill. Sponsors were Babylock and Fabrics Etc2. Oh my it was "sew" much fun. Lots of information given. and El was hilarious. I was one of the lucky ones and had lunch at her table. Poor lady, she was asked so many questions that she didn't have tme to eat. So graceous, she answered them all. She sure is proud of her family.
And quality.... could not have asked for more (oh, maybe coffee at lunch). Everything, material and pattern, was sitting at your own (to use) sewing machine each day. 3 days and 3 different techniques to do. Worked with a serger, embroidery, sashiko and Babylocks new Apria.
And fellow quilters...were the best. Teachers were full of it, information that is.
Great time. Anyone else go?

Wish I could have gone, but I'm clear across country from you, maybe if she ever comes to my state.

I've met her many times at Paducah and her Greet and Meet dinner evenings. She always has a smile. I don't know how she keeps her smile, posing for pictures with everyone, every minute. She is very accessible to her fans, not hiding behind a booth to keep her distance. She has earned the right to be Queen of Quilting in my opinion.

I didn't go, but living in So California, I have been to the QIAD store and have taken classes from her. She really does have a great attitude towards life and quilting !!

I was lucky to go to a similar 3 day seminar with Eleanor about 4 years ago in Lansing, Michigan. A lot of fun and would do it again!

You're a lucky gal. I wish I could attend one of her seminars, but can't afford to fly to CA. I'll settle for watching her tutorials on her web site.
