Pinwheel pattern or instructions needed

I keep seeing pinwheel blocks that blocks are sewn together, then they are cut and they become pinwheels. Someone here has a wall hanging as their avatar that is a christmas wreath using this techique.

You may be talking about the Twister pattern and template.

search the twister pattern and pinwheels and see what comes up
