I ordered mine through Thread Arts.com, they aren't to spendy.
I have the same machine.
Do you have Ped-Basic kit to convert from CD to a memory card? I bought mine on line from the Brother.com site, but you can get one at the shop where you bought your machine. Good luck I enjoy mine ...

dont forget emblibrary.com
Embroidert Library sells lots of singles -- when you want one design and not a whole slew that you will never use.

I bought the PED basic for my brother a number of years ago. It is still available and comes with a disc. I then use the ped basic to download patterns onto my disc and insert it into the machine to embroider. There are other PED machines but the basic works for me and is available online through several sources

Hope that helps

My favorite site to get designs is embroiderydesigns.com because you can download 3 free designs a week and they have sales. I like to wait and get Dakota designs for $8.00 when they have a sale!
