I would like to make a full/queen quilt using stamped quilt blocks. I am new to this and would love to hear/pictures from any of you who have done this. I am just getting started on the first block (about 35 to go:) but am thinking of some creative ways to put it together. I would imagine it will take several months just to get the embroidery work finished. Thanks for viewing!

Look at this posting & the 7th quilt pictured. You could put your embroidered blocks in the blocks where I have appliqued flowers.

I'm halfway through the Jack Dempsey stamped cross stitch /embroidery Wedding Ring (quilt blocks) for a queen size bed. I think you'll enjoy it.

How big are your embroidered blocks going to be when you are done embroidering them? Sounds like they might be small. I made a quilt for my DD and my blocks were 12 or 18 inches, can't remember which. And I only used 12 of them.

Here is a link to pics of my quilt:

I think they will be about 15 inch blocks. I will wash and dry before putting them together so I think 15 inches will be what I will be working with.

I embroidered 12 tractor blocks and am making two quilts from them. The first tractors are done in green, red and blue. The second quilt will be all green tractors.

I changed my layout from this to the next one.
