How do I find out when my old machine was made?

I used the link posted in the other thread and found that my old treadle is a Singer 66. It has the red eyes on it. How do I find out what year it was made? The serial is G0445073

Thank you. Looks like 1910. Wow, it is old. :shock:

edit-nope, 1923. I guess that leading zero makes a difference. Still old. :mrgreen:

I have a 27-4 -- the beginning part of the serial number is missing so I don't know how old it is... :roll:

Thanks for the link. I looked up the cabinet model I sew on and it's only 5 yrs older than me---she was born in 1948, a mere baby as far as machines go, only 62 yrs old. I still love her though.
