Hell everyone,
Kim AKA dglvr ask me to say HI to all and she will be back home Sunday.
We got to meet in person at the expo. Having much fun and seeing a lot of new things.
Connie's been there all three day's and tomorrow is the last day. Friday was there from 8AM to after 9:30, Say 8:30 to a little after 8 PM. And tomorrow morning is the red/pink style show for cancer and heart research. All ticket sales and donations to both.
Last night was Friday Night Live. Was so good as usual with Mary and Rita. Tonight after closing was Quilters night out with Elanore Burns. She is so funny. She talked about her new rulers etc. And she has a new fabric line coming out soon ans another new Book soon. I got a couple of patterns today for a neat jacket and skirt and pants. Looking for ward to getting one made up.
Well news is on and my DH said there was a earth Quake in Chilli

My friend, Judy, and I attended the Sew Expo in Puyallup Thursday and Friday. Wow! almost overwhelming....so much to see and touch! We live on the Olympic Peninsula so only took about 2 hours to get there. We stayed overnight Thursday night. We didn't decide early enough to get the classes we would be interested in, but we did attend a couple lectures. We had a great time!
I attended this expo many years ago when I lived in Oregon. At that time there didn't seem to be a whole lot on quilting...mostly garment sewing, but this time there was a whole lot on quilting! Friday was packed!!! Thursday was better...I don't like crowds too much.
Guess What! I bought a QE 4.0 Pfaff sewing machine there. I pick it up in Silverdale Tuesday or Wednesday. I am a true blue pfaff fan and I am so excited! The price was excellent! I have a Pfaff 1471 which is their first computerized machine and about 25 years old. My husband bought it used for me for Christmas around 15 or 16 years ago. I love that machine, but it seems to be tiring some. I am going to have it serviced and keep it!

I attended on Thursday and met up with mistiliz, Wine Woman, and Ladygen. We had a good (but too short) visit. I always enjoy the Expo. This year and last year I just drove up for the day, but the two previous years I stayed several days and took lots of the short lectures/classes. My first year there was the year that Kaye Wood filled in for Fons and Porter when they were caught in a snow storm in the mid-west. Kaye was so funny I thought my sides would split from laughter.
