I just found out that EQ7 will be released this June!!

Digital cameras will become a quilter's best friend. EQ7 has dozens of ways to turm everyday photos into quilt art images. Or crop and edit scanned fabrics right in EQ7 in minutes. And that's just the start!

to upgrade it will be $89.95. To Purchase new it will be $189.95.

    Just thought I would share.

Thanks for the tip! Now I'll have to sit down and learn the program that I've had for more than a year! :)

Thanks for the tip. I use EQ6 regularly and love it. I hope they don't change it too much.

I just heard that too. Of course I bought EQ6 for Christmas, it would have to come out with a newer version as soon as I buy!!
Being to use my camera and create quilts from that sounds pretty cool, and I like the fact that they are going to let you load it as many times as you want on different computers
Must have gotten too many complaints on that issue!!!

I just received an email about this from a online quilt shop, they advertised it at $149, no mention of the upgrade question... I don't remember which shop it was either  as I have EQ6 and I am not planning on upgrading right away :D

If you buy directly from the Electric Quilt website, the pre-publication price is $142 and the upgrade is $58. You have to order before May 31st, so time is running out if you want that special price. Or you can ask at your LQS - they should offer at the same price as the Electric Quilt Company.

OOPS you're right. The $58 offer is the same as EQ website. I got an email offer from Soft Expressions and, without checking the EQ site again, I posted this. I apologize and I'll try not to post so early in the mornings when I'm not running on all cylinders!!....lol.
