Red face Estate sale preparation...

I found a sale that will be one day only, starting at noon, and has gobs of quilting items. I plan to be there early!
Can't tell hubby tho. He just wouldn't understand.

Have a good time. If I lived a little closer I'd go with you.

I wanted to go to an estate sale about a week ago that listed quilting fabric. For some really important reason, I could not go on Saturday. I figured all the fabric would be gone but I really wanted to go after church the next day. When I got there, there was a sign that said everything was 50% off ! There was so much fabric to buy and all the magazines were now free. I was able to bring home about 2 large trash bags of fabric, a basket filled with scraps and a grocery sack full of magazines and books all for $35.00. I also got about a dozen blocks all varied.

I would get there a little bit early - they just might start letting people look around a little early.

speaking of estate sales.....lost year went on the last day of one locally and there on one of the beds were two hand quilted queen size wholecloth quilts just thrown in a bunch with a lot of other stuff.....for $5.00 each!!!! They are now mine and they are so well quilted, you have to really look close to make sure those stitches are hand not machine!!!!!! I never miss an estate sale now.......
