I just got an email notice about an estate sale that has four sewing machines on sale. Two are new in the box and if I get there early enough I think I'll pick up the Singer Overlock since I don't have one.
Any ideas on what these are and what I should pay for them? The Overlock seems to be going for about $50 online, so I'll try for a lot less. Looks like there should be a ton of thread there, too!

These are listed as new in the box

What the heck is this???

The last one is an industrial serger. Very fast.

I worked with one of those for a few years! it's a commercial machine and one huge P.I.T.A. to thread. But, if you can get it for $50 and it works, buy it,and then sell it to me. I've been trying to find one I can afford for years. Cheapest I've found is... well, if I tell you then I'll still have to pay a lot for it!!

Looking at those tables, I'm kicking myself for selling my van to save on gas! My little Suzuki does have a big trunk, but ...

I've actually been wondering if picking up sewing machines and reselling might be a good retirement business for my husband. He purchased a beautiful old treadle that is sitting in my garage right now. Hopefully it will find a good home one day!
