does anyone know anything about these machines? I'm seeing one on my local craigs list for sale and wondering if it was a good deal. they are asking 100.00 firm and say it's a "work horse" and has made many thick quilts. just wondering what your thoughts were. I asked her for a model # and year but haven't heard back yet. any thoughts would be greatly appreciated! thanks!

I have one, the Shark Intelli sew model. Heavy duty machine. Every time my brother buys a pair of pants, he asks me to hem them, I use the Euro as it does the heavy canvas nicely.
I got mine a few years back at $300 new.

I have one my mother bought just befoe she died. It is a work horse. I have sewn ribbon around the collar of karate uniforms with it.(Several layers of denim like material) The needle went through just like I was piecing cotton.

I tried either 2 or 3 and liked them but they all had problems [diifferent with each machine.] All were somehow defective [parts broke and such] and had to be returned. I didn't want to try again. They seemed too good to be true and that was what happened to me.

However, a friend bought one and hers was OK>
