Default Extra pieces from my bargello - thinking about using them as a backing

I have a bunch of left over strips from a bargello that I designed and made. I am thinking about using them as a backing. The first picture (hopefully) is an arrangement for the back, which may change. The second picture is the front. I am wondering about the quilting. It may look funny on the back if I SID on the front.

This is a table runner or a bed runner or an accent for our sofa.

Nice!! I like to use my scraps so they don't end up filling scrap bins. I'm happy when I can put all the scraps from the front of a quilt onto the back.

I use my scraps making them into bookmarks. Usually, most bargellos are stitched in the direction that the "wave" is going.

I love to have a pieced design on the back of a quilt. Kinda makes it reversible. Don't worry about how the quilting falls on the back, just do it the way you want on the front.

Good way to use the scraps! I agree with Jeanne S -- quilt the front as you wish.

How about a wavy serpentine like quilting following the "shapes/lines" by quilting the back side? The front would show a continuous "wavy line". Just a thought.

Why not make two which can replace each other when washing. They are both fabulous.no idea about quilting.
