Last week I bought some F&P white lead, but it didn't fit my mechanical pencil. My old pencil was 0.5mm the lead was 0.9 so it didn't fit. I figured I'd have to use my JoAnn coupon for the pencil which I think is about $12/13. I stopped in Walmart this morning and was looking thru the school supplies and found a 4 pack of 0.9 mechanical pencils for $3. I couldn't believe it! I usually just see 0.5mm pencils. When I got home I took the dark lead out of one pencil and tried the white - perfect!
I wanted the white lead to mark on dark fabric.

I wasn't too keen on buying a $13 pencil at JOAnn.
There's too many other gadgets I want to buy!

Thanks for the tip. I have the Fons and Porter pencil but its a pain to switch between the light and dark leads. I was going to buy another so I could have one with white and another with dark lead. Now I'll save some money!
