I also get mine at Wal-Mart. They seemed more than happy to get rid of them.

Joannes just gave me 15 which I am cutting down smaller to fit on my shelves. I Googled "corrugated plastic" and you can buy 48 48"x96" sheets for $33.00. I think we figured out we could get 6 to 8 sheets out of it depending on what size I wanted. They came in clear and colors. I like the idea of free however and since the fabric store uses them, they should be safe. Another thought is to cut down the priority boxes from USPS. They are a little lighter than the fabric boxes and may not take up as much room. Good luck. I know I want to get my fabric out of the plastic boxes and organized so I know what I have. Take care.

Well, I hit the mother lode at my LQS this afternoon. As I was having them cut me some fabric, I asked if they had any of those empty cardboard things. They all looked at each other and said "Gosh, yes!" The owner then took me to their dumpster where I scarfed up handfuls as shown below. Oh, boy! I'm happy! :D

When I buy fabric I ask them to leave it on the cardboard and they do. Also they will give you them, free! Just ask and you shall receive!

Hello Eddie,
Those are nice but the way I look at it I would need 2 x's the space to store fabris for the thickness of the http://www.thefabricorganizer.com/
Hope I can say this so you can see what I am trying to tell you...
Fold fab just like you get it S to Sdraped over cutting tabl or ironing board.
Take your 8.5 x 24 in ruller and start rolling. ( have byt this time already washed and pressed the fab and the S's are off)
when all rolled pull ruller 1/2 way out and fold in half.
Stack on the shelfs, by colors for kind or whatever.... now this is a great trick. When you want one lower in the stack put the ruller in just above it and hold up a bit and pull it out. You can put it back the same way. It works so great.....Hope this helps.
Connie...
