i have been shopping with them for over 10 years-
i do recommend pre=washing-
i recently ordered a batik wide (backing) the shrinkage was about 4" (ordered 3yds; 108" after washing it's just over 104" it also really dyed my color catchers...
i do expect this from any batik's or hand dyes-
but if you are not expecting it...
i am not a (faithful) pre-washer; but always batik's, hand dyes, reds, blacks -- or any fabric i think might bleed-
and flannels or home spuns for the shrinkage.

One of my favorite sources - just got a bunch of new Civil War fabrics today - one piece is 3½ yards of 108" wide backing - wasn't crazy about the color, but I couldn't resist the price and since it appears that I've gone insane for CW reproductions, I know that it will be used. :)

I love this shop also BUT did receive some yucky red white and blue.
There was no name on the fabric like Moda, Timeless Treasures, etc.
I do not buy it unless it has the name of a manufacturer I recognize.
The fabric was VERY stiff. I donated it to a group to make bags. I would not have put this into a quilt.

Too bad we can't use QB membership to receive a discount.

If you sign up for their email newsletters, you will get discount and promo codes about once a week.

They usually put their promos on the front page of their site, too so if you just check every few days, you probably won't miss a sale or discount code. :)
