Fabric cost leap
#1
Hello,
My first time on message board, enjoying reading all the comments and ideas.
I have shopped 2nd hand stores, good will, garage/yard sales for years and picked up good quality fabrics for my projects. Even colorful, bright sheets will work.
I belong to a small quilt group and in our monthly 'club news' in the newspaper we invite others to join us in quilting. Through this avenue we, as a group, have had many boxes of good cotton fabric dontated. We use some for nursing home lap robes and some for 'Babies in Need' at local hospital. People are generous when they know some of their donation goes to a good cause. 8-)
