Several of us got together and picked up some fabric from our storage shed that had been donated to the Guild. Then we sorted it and made jelly rolls and FQs out of some of the scraps. The scraps that were smaller than that are going into large baggies to be sold that way. Larger pieces were measured, folded and priced accordingly. I will add some pictures.

My problem: the dots I am using for pricing the fabric are peeling off. We are taking the fabric to the Guild meeting on Thursday to be sold to our members. Any better ideas on how to handle the yardage?

would a different type of adhesive work - maybe masking tape or the white address labels for your printer?

or you can use small safety pins, yarn, and paper and make your own labels.

I use painters blue tape or even masking tape

Use a basting gun and an index card cut into pieces. That's how I mark mine on my shelves.

If these other tapes stick to the fabric, will they leave a mark?

Some of the Lancaster fabric shops use plain old masking tape for their price tags. I like the other methods you used.

If you are using baggies, you could just write the price on the bag. Lots of luck with the sale. Wish I could go. BrendaK

Well you aren't that far away! My problem is the bigger pieces. Some of them are 3, 4 and 5 yard pieces. Can't bag those. Maybe I should put a ribbon around them to keep them neat and try the dot on the ribbon?
