    I often use Elmers school glue stick. It seems to wash out just fine

    Real Deal Tacky Glue, and I also use Aileen's Jewel-it (also works on fabrics).

    Oh I just have an experiment in mind to use glue and fabric trash so to speak. I just ordered Aileene's glue, gallon of it. Saved me about $80 buying a gallon over 4 oz or 8 oz bottles.

    It's one of those ideas that I see in my mind but can't explain it so best thing is just do it and see what it looks like and if it comes out the way I think it will I'll post it here under photos.

    You are right - it won't wash out. I only use it for embellishments, i.e. yo yo's, etc.

    There are alot but not all of them are good for quilting. Roxanne's will get hard so you need to wet it soon after to dissolve it. I use Elmer's school glue stick for appliqueing and it works out great.

    I have those "wonder if" moments, too, and just try an idea in my head - if it doesn't work, it goes in the trash and never thought of again - but if it works - - - - hooray!!

    Plus it washes out; some of the others get hard. Why put alot of work into something and then have something like glue mess it up. Plus; it's cheap
