Default Fabric identification

Hello,

http://www.quiltsbyladyzoe.com/store...097943368.html

I'm trying to locate where some fabric was manufactured. I was hoping some quilters on this board may recognise the fabric or could have purchased the fabric in the past and may be able to pass on information they know so i can track down the company who distributed it.

The reason im asking is, Last month a little girls remains were found in a suitcase on the side of the road in Australia and she was wrapped up in a quilt. A childs i spy quilt, some of the fabrics have been identified but one of the fabrics is very distinct and it might not have been sold to many stores in Australia.

You can read more about it here. http://www.adelaidenow.com.au/news/s...-1227457115935

The distinct fabric Im trying to get details about was located on a ladies blog from kansas who used it in one of her quilts, but we haven't been able to get any more information.

Any information would be really helpful, And i hope this post is allowed and hasn't upset anybody.

It is the Camel fabric im trying to get information on...

Thanks

I believe this webpage has the same quilt on it. http://www.quiltsbyladyzoe.com/store...097943368.html

Edited to add: Oops! I didn't realize this is where your picture came from. Probably no help at all.

Sorry, I tried all the various searches I could think of (including image search) and I found nothing at all.

Good luck, I hope someone else has better luck finding this!

I did have some of that fabric about 7 years ago. I purchased mine from a shop called Abakhan. This shop sells lengths of fabric, with the price depending on the weight of the fabric piece/s you select.
If I can I'll see if I can find a piece a had left. Unfortunately I have bee n reducing my stash and it may have gone. Will post. Again tomorrow.

Abakhan is a cheap shop which sells most of its fabric by weight and it is in lengths over 1 metre. They also sell other craft produce at cheaper prices . It is no use expecting to find the same fabric again

I purchased it ax few years ago for a themed Egypt quilt.

Somewhere re I have in my mind that there are shops in India or Pakistan but it's only an inkling.

With th the info I supplied you can contact manufacturer and see if they can tell you where they shipped this line to and if they know which shops. Computers should be able to do that considering the circumstances.

good luck in your search and hope it helps.
