"faux bois" is a helpful phrase. I use a fabric from Joel Dewberry. I like it because it's available in hot pink. :0D

Edit: I've also used that Connecting Threads fabric in pillowcases. Doesn't look realistic but definitely says "wood."

The Louisa line by Moda has some wood looking fabric. I just made a throw with the charm packs.

Moda will be reprinting some of their Modascapes fabrics in April. These were some of their "classic" prints that they offered in the past. (Except for their basics, Moda usually just does one printing, sells it out, and that's the end of it.)

There will be three colors of woodgrain prints and three colors of log prints. Ummm... I think that the colorways are equally nice, so if any readers would like to chime in and give an opinion on which ones are the best colors, I'd appreciate the advice, as I need to make up my mind and place my order!

And thank you, MamaBear61, Beachlady and 2 Much Fabric for mentioning Favorite Fabrics! Referrals are always a wonderful thing and much appreciated.
