well, now, I didn't even think about that when I replied.
Of course if I need to make something for grand mouslings, all bets are off! Nana's buying!

I will go on a fabric DIET, but not a moratorium. I refuse to punish myself that way, I've done nothing to deserve such a harsh restriction!
lol, this has to be my favorite reply of all!
Just don't make rules that are impossible to keep and unnecessary
bc they reak of self abuse!

Just walking into the store does it for me. Or driving by to take a look see. I also have been throwing my mailing coupons from JAF and Hancock away. Doesn't matter they have same in the store. Have been pretty well behaved for the past 6 weeks though. June 20, I broke the 5th metatarsal so DH went to the store. What I saved spending on material he bought extra groceries. Was confined to wheelchair but not anymore. Going to stay home for couple more weeks. So he can spend more on groceries.

The exchange rate has kept me on the straight and narrow but so has realising just how much fabric I really do have. DH has always said I have enough to start my own Quilt Shop - I'm afraid he may be right.
For Fairy Frost I would break every fabric rule there is, I love that stuff!

It's sales. I can resist buying when the fabric is $10+ per yard but let it dip down to $5- I'm in real trouble. I have been really good this summer but the fall sales will start soon and I might be pulling out my wallet.

One way I have been using up my stash is to piece my backs. I haven't bought a quilt back in 2 years. Look on Pintrest for ideas for quilt backs.
