Thread: Fabric Puckers Around Monogram

I'm using a lightweight stabilizer for lightweight fabric like cotton. The fabric puckers around the letters. Any suggestions?

Try using an additional two layers of water soluble underneath the fabric and one layer on top of the fabric - I think more stabilizer is always the answer to puckering. More layers or heavier stabilizer. Good luck!

Yes, heavier stabilizer helps, but there is a stabilizer that is lightweight and cutaway that you iron on a lightweight fabric that works well. I am not at home right now or I could tell you the name of it. It is like a lightweight piece of cotton stabilizer and it definitely has to be ironed on.

I really like Stitch and Tear, it is a heavier weight stabilizer.. and I never get puckers.
