What a wonderful thing your cousin did for you - can't wait to see your quilt, I'm sure it will be beautiful.

Oh, I am always making things for Kay! For Christmas, I made her a tote back, which I designed myself, quilted on my Singer 328K, and appliqued some fussy-cut cartoon cats (and a large applique embroidered bright orange daisy). I put a zipper in the bag, it was lined and had two large pockets! It was on cream-colored cotton twill, and in it I put a pair of jeans, a bright red sweater, a blue shirt, a tube of Gold Bond Healing hand cream, and a jar of Burt's Beeswax with Almond Milk hand cream! She was thrilled with the bag (which served as the wrapping for all the rest! LOL!

Although we're cousins by marriage, we're family and I love her like I love my sisters!

Two years ago, I did an embroidered "Sooner" wagon (all satin-stitch embroidery) and framed it. She liked that one, too! And, in between times, I'm working on an embroidered quilt top for her! Kay is very good to me and since she's all alone (as far as family is concerned), I check up on her to make sure she's okay!

Sorry, I got a long way from quilt fabric!

Jeanette
