I second www.quiltville.com. My next project is her String X quilts...which call for 5 inch strips. I have alot of those leftovers from cutting strips for other quilts, so it was an easy one for me to pick. But she has lots of other good ones.

If I had squares, I would love to do a scrappy Irish chain (or double/triple)....

Thank you Cyn. Our local quilt shop take scrap donations also. What they can't use in a charity quilt, they will bag up for someone else to take and drop off donations for.

Those are beautiful. How do you do the pendants and barretts? Is it a resin coating?

my scrap bin is overflowing. OverFlowing, I tell you!!! A string quilt is in my very near future. Can't wait to empty that bin. I always feel like I'm making a Free quilt when I use up my scraps. And it's so fun re-visiting my old friends. lol...
