Yes, thanks, Leslie 333. This is perfect for a "panel" I have.

I agree! And oh so very easy to do - can anyone say grid paper?

I can relate to not being able to cut into the pretty fabric. I have way to many of those "pretty pieces" in my stash. I have been getting a little braver of late, but, there are still some I just can't do it to. Maybe someday.
I really like the pattern that Leslie333 posted. I just hate to pay $9.50 for it. I know, I know, some of you are saying I'm cheap!!! Actually I'm thrifty. I know it is a simple pattern, but, I am not mentally equipped to draw it out myself. Nor do I have an EQ program. HUMMMMMMMMM?

Use it for a quilt back. Very little, if any, cutting required.

Girls, you're looking at this all wrong....if you cut fabric you own already, and use it all up, you get to go buy more . I don't see a problem here!

Well, if you don't use that beautiful fabric sometime, someone else will get it for a steal and will happily use it! I know that I am digging into my "too pretty to cut" fabrics because I want to use them before I die and my family sells it for $1 a pound!!!

I so agree with this....hard as it is I am keeping this firmly in mind and running amok with all those 'special' fabrics I've been putting aside.

Today when I visited my mother, we went on a charity shop crawl....cool fun and got Mum some lovely clothes and accessories. I picked up two sets of pillowcases, good quality cotton, Australian made, still in the cellophane wrapper....must be about 30-40 years old and completely untouched. When I got to the counter I said "seems like someone saved them for best", "Yeah and obviously never used them - what are you going to do with them, they look good quality". Unwrap them, wash them and use them said I.....now to apply that to 'stash'

I agree with Teri, use it as a backing and you won't have to cut it up unless you need to to fit the front.
