I was out this morning running errands and was really surprised to see fabric in Wal-Mart! (It is new in the last several days, as we were there over the weekend and didn't see it.) I'd had no intentions of buying fabric today (I'm trying to destash a bit), but I had to look. And I found some Transformers fabric, so I bought some to make new pants for my boys. (I made them pants out of Transformers fabric a year or so ago, and they were worn in heavy rotation until the knees were ripped out a few months ago.) Perfect timing for back to school!

The woman cutting fabric told me that they'd had 5-6 inquiries about fabric per week for a long time, but that she was afraid that people had finally gotten used to Wal-Mart not having fabric anymore. I was happy to tell her that it was all over the internet that it was coming back! ;)

Ours is coming back too. They should have listened to us to begin with.

The Wal Mart in Arnold is getting fabrics also. It's a new store and never had it before, the old store had it. Glad they saw the error of their ways.

I was at Walmart today picking up an item...bought on line and pick up free at store same day..20.00 cheaper than the store price...anyways...I noticed there new redesigned fabric store. Its not as big but the fabric is better quality. I was pleased with what I saw. Sadly I did not have time to buy any...the woman had several people in line waiting to have fabric cut and I needed to get back to work.
