Ok, So I'm guessing our favorites are 100% cotton, but what style is your favorite to work with??

Do you like florals, tie dyes, stripes, geometrics, circles, polkadots, swirls, whimsical, children, Licensed (Care Bear, John Deere, etc), black and whites, lots of bright colors, basic solids?????????

Let me know what you like to work with best.

I'm going to be adding the fabrics I have to my eBay site soon...that way I can get money to order some fresh prints! I need to know what is going to sell best before I order, so I need your help!

I LOVE BATIKS!! My favorites are those without a pattern that just have the colors randomly muted into one another. Like the ones in my May 1 BOM Spider Star block - posted in pictures yesterday. ann

Batiks, all things MODA, some pastels, Thimbleberries are nice, RJR, Red Rooster, summer colors, fall colors, winter colors, & of course spring colors... To answer your question a bit more precisely, batiks & everything by Moda (I love the color lines they use) Most of us here are fabriholics and we can & will use just about anything, so it is too tough a question to answer... We can't do something as outrageous as committing to just one answer... Sorry, but that's impossible! :D

I like prints, usually florals, not large.and fabric that has soft flowing colors, I like gingham , because depending on the color of gingham you can mix it in with flowery prints, focusing on say the color of blue gingham with a various yellow, floral print. But fabric with mingled color is also nice for applique. Boy this is hard, cause I like it ALL.

start by ordering what YOU like. others are bound to like it, too, and buy it. over time, if you make it easy for them, potential customers will email suggestions or requests for other brands and types of prints, etc. you'll learn what to buy in large quantities because "everybody" likes it, and what to buy in small amounts for niche markets.

I usually buy small print fabrics. I love calico. On another blog my name is actually calicogal. I am a very traditional quilter so I favor the old patterns as well as retro prints.
