you visit a special list of stores, find their bunnies and when you find so many you get put into a drawing for fabulous prizes or gift certificates to online stores!! it is fun. so far i've won 2 gift certificate. i'm holding out that someday i'll win the grand prize sometime!! you should try it out

I'm surprised with this month's. 127 shops (it says 129 but 2 are unavailable) and you need 120 bunnies. Usually it's 180 with 130 bunnies. I hope this find them all isn't a trend... some are just hard!

They wouldn't be hard if the quilt shops followed the rules and posted a clue. I've found some bunnies that weren't even where the clue said!

the (rules) do not specify that shops have to post a clue...the bunny is supposed to be findable on a 'main-page' one click from the home page...but they don't have to give any hints if they do not want to. i've been doing these for the whole 10 years they have been having them. over the years i've won some pretty good prizes...none (so far) of the Big-prizes but i've won a couple fabric fat quarter collections and many gift certificates. some shops it is harder to find the bunnies than other shops but after awhile you just figure out the normal places to look...when no clue...i always start with the newsletter sign up page and any (specialty) the quilt shop claims fame to. sometimes i have to go back a number of times to find it...a couple times i have emailed the shop and simply asked...only once did i receive a response that they would not divulge even a hint...every other time they happily emailed my back either the location or a good clue. the one that refused....well, somewhere along the line they stopped participating anyway...maybe went out of business..i don't know.
it can be time consuming if you let it...i generally at the beginning of a new hop check to see how many shops there are for that one (it's different each time) then i divide that number by the days of the month so i know how many i need to find each day to get them all...then i realize some days i will not find them ... i try to (catch-up) on the weekends and find a few extras..
if you try to do it all in a day, or a week it will just give you a headache! and it is best to spread it out over the month...there are drawings all month long...every day if you find at least one you are in that day's drawings and on saturdays are double drawings...so you want to find at least one every saturday.

Where do you find the list to get into the shop hop contests?
