I think this has been suggested before,but I will bring it up again and try to remember to do it myself! If you post a picture ,it helps to put NO PATTERN under it if you dont have it to share or a link or whatever. It saves a lot of PMs on both ends! :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup:

Not sure I understand. Do you mean like for the name of the picture use the words, no pattern? Most of my quilt pictures are patterns I purchased so would not be able to share as they are copywrited. I don't think I'm seen any that do contain a link. But then again I may be misunderstanding. Hopefully I'll get it and will include the necessary infor with my pictures.

You can share a link to a pattern so that other people can purchase it too. No copyright problem with that.

Also, it's quite permissable to give the pattern name, pattern maker's name, and any other info about the pattern for people who want to search for it themselves (if you don't have a link to the pattern online).

For quilter's who have made up their own quilt without a pattern, putting the words "NO PATTERN" in the post will save having to answer lots of inquiries about the source for the pattern.
