    There was a post on here previously about this variation of the fan block, but I don't remember who posted it, and now I can't find the post. Then I ran across this website on civil war quilts and found this same pattern. So I thought the person who posted this might be interested.

    I saw the post you mean but can't remember either. I love that design and love Barbara Brackman's books. They are jewels for the quilt history buff like me :)

    I am so amazed at the quilt designs before they had all the computer programs. Makes me feel like I depend on technology way too much! Thank you for sharing!
