I'm not sure what you mean by a fancy pin - for wearing? for sewing with? for using to decorate with? Could you post a picture?

Are you talking about the fancy pins for pin cushions? I have made a few for decoration only, with a corsage pin as the center and a few pretty beads added. I know that someone mentioned not to send pin cushions through the mail with pins in due to a postal worker getting an owie.

What dumb bunny would mail a pincushion full of pins in a paper package?

I would like to see pictures too. This might be interesting, but would like to know more about them.

I, too, am wondering about these pins. Would like to see a pic and know how they are used.

O.k. so i make them out odf corsage pins or longer.
Can be used for quilting but if you have a pretty pincushion
You might like a nice pin to put in it.
I've decorated mine with glass and crystal beads. Have purchased some from the scrapbook section, or just added cute fimo clay toppers or even made tops from shrinky dink material. Wish i could post a pic for you, no camera.
