The Turning Twenty pattern called "Superman" in this book http://www.amazon.com/Turning-Twenty...+simply+sashed makes a 16" block that is great for larger prints. We have made this quilt twice. One of them is here: http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...t-t101268.html. You don't say what skill level you are looking for. This one is rather elementary, but it does make a nice quilt.

Any of the BQ quilt patterns by Maple Island Quilts work great with large prints.

I have and love both Livin' Large books. I am working on a quilt from one of them now (actually it's more of a UFO but I'll get back to it soon).

Here is a pdf of the big block quilt mentioned above. It's from a fabric manufacturer website and doesn't really give instructions but you might be able to figure it out pretty easily.

http://www.ttfabrics.com/wp-content/...risCredits.pdf

I've looked all over trying to find fabric requirements for this pattern but none of the sites selling it show the back or tell what it requires.

There is a pattern called the Chippewa Nine Patch by Minick and Simpson that is ideal for large print florals. It uses a combination of nine patches which are made from contrasting colors that are in the large floral print. Then the floral print is used as a snowball block. Then all the blocks are place in a diagonal set. When the quilt is finished its 80 x 80.

Warm Wishes has large focal blocks--the pattern is free online.

If you want a really easy quilt, just cut the fat quarters into nine inch squares and then sash and border them with a solid background fabric. I'd use 2" sashing and a 4" border. You could also use cornerstones, if you'd like.

I saw a quilt on Pinterest this morning, but I cannot fin dit now. It was larger rectangles (maybe 6x12) with a shadow effect running the length of the quilt with white sashing.

The person who posted it said she used it to showcase large scale prints.

It was similar to http://www.pinterest.com/pin/184506915956961409/

There is nothing better than BQ or BQ2 by Maple Island. There have been posts of quilts made using this pattern on this site. Just try an advance search. It is my go to pattern when I have a large print. I have quite a few designs using an 8" square of fabric. Makes charity quilts go together much faster !!
