Default Favorite Online Resource for Civil War Reproductions?

Hello! Looking for your favorite online shop or site to purchase civil war reproductions. In particular I'm looking for a few good black fabrics. Thanks!

How wonderful!!! In Ohio, 8th graders do a unit on Harriet Tubman and the Underground Railroad. My goal - maybe next summer, is to make a sampler of quilt squares that were used on the Underground Railroad with the name of the block and its meaning. When I find the blocks, I am going to have to find a way to let the kids help me w/ it....That would be fun for the kids....Now some thought will have to go into this...

Reproduction Fabrics and Vintage and Vogue are the two sources I most use for repro fabrics.
For solid black I'd use Gohn Brothers. They're Mennonites and I don't think they have a website. I deal with them thru their catalogue (no pictures) and by phone.

That is a FABULOUS idea. Since it's a school project if you decide to go with a less pricey fabric, Walmart really has some great reproduction fabrics. Honestly I would have just bought some there or at Jo-Anns but it's near impossible to find much selection in black, even at quilt shops!!! We do have one shop about 45 minutes from here with a good selection of civil war repros...but the cost in gas and the frustration to go there with three kids...for maybe a yard of fabric...ugh I'll go online.

Good luck though, that sounds like a really FUN project!!!
