Default Favorite quilt

What is the quilt you would pick as your favorite? When my 1st(and only) DGD was born I mad.e her a Whinney the Pooh quilt the I made buy tracing pictures from DGS's coloring book. I then used fabric paints to color them and sewed the blocks so they told a story. I had the squares hanging all over 'til the paint dried so my kitchen looked like a day care center lol. She is in High School now and still has her quilt.

My favorite quilt is one my girls made for me. They chose the Gramdmothers flower garden pattern. None fo my 3 girls had ever made a quilt before. 1 cut the pieces, 1 sewed and one pressed. They used scraps of fabrics from the clothes I had made for them thru the years to make it. There are tucks and puckers and crooked seams in it but to me it is the most precious quilt I own because it came from theirs hearts. They gave it to me for Christmas. I still cry with I think of their faces when I opened the gift. It is the warmest quilt too, because of the love stitched in it.

"love the one you're with" this it's basically my philosophy. I typically love the one I'm working on at the moment the most. Though I have a hard time choosing between the ones I've made for my kids when I'm not quilting.
