Default Featherweight Card Table????

Can someone tell me if this is a Featherweight table or can any sewing machine fit into it? Is there some kind of labeling or identifying marks on the table?

Looks like it. Mine had a number on the underside. It isn't on a plate but carved or pressed into the wood

It could be. Looks like you have the metal sling underneath the opening that holds the machine in place. This type of table was made for the 301 also, I believe. The opening would be different depending on the machine. Original tables of this type are quite valuable. Years ago they used to sell for $250 and up; not sure what they sell for now, although you can probably find out by checking eBay.

Looks like it to me, but I'm not an expert.

It may be for a 301 as the cut out looks fairly long for a standard featherweight. The length of my inset piece for my Featherweight card table is 17.5 inches. If yours is longer, there will be a gap and your machine will not fit in snugly. Other machines will not fit into this table as most machines are screwed in with hinges. These tables have flat little plates or prongs that fit into the underside of the Featherweight or 301 and extra length for the drop down extended bed.

It is a table for either the FW or the 301. depends on how long the hole is in the table. I have one just like it. Love my table. Won't part with it til I die and then my daughter might have to build onto her trailer home to accomodate all my machines and stash.
