I am interested in purchasing a Featherweight machine but would like feedback on the better/best model, year etc to get. Will probably get it on EBay and have to ship to Hi, so want to get it right the first time. Thanks for any input.

Check out this site. www.FeatherweightRX.com. They have extra machines and have so much informaiton for these machines. I took a class from them a couple months ago and my FW runs like a charm.

Here it is: http://www.featherweight221.com/fwrx/index.html

I have Dave's book and highly recommend it. It's written so that it's easy to understand what he is teaching and the diagrams are wonderful! He has a great sense of humor, too!

Thanks to all of you for your help with the featherweight site, checked it out already and will be calling Dave tomorrow. Washington state is 3 hours ahead of us. I'm excited now that I have a resource, hopefully I can buy the machine sooner than I thought. Again, thanks to all who responded.
