noticed several for sale on craigslist in Tucson, AZ. Just called on one for $75 in working order, in cabinet. Doesn't have all attachments but those can be ordered later, if you want them. If in this area, check out craigslist.

Don't think Featherweights come in cabinets -they are portable machines.

Below are the postings I saw today. Guess I got really excited about the $75 one and most are more than that but it's still interesting to know there are so many of these old singer machines in one area the size of Tucson. Here are the listings:

one guy wants $250 for one....of course that is high end of the scale.

Guy I talked to has post on 7/17..singer sewing machine/cabinet $75...located speedway and country club.

    Singer Sewing Machine 1954 - $210 (Silverbell/Cortaro)

Singer Sewing machine - $100 (sunsites) not sure about this as there is no picture posted.

Singer 201 Sewing Machine - $125 (Westside). wasn't sure if 221 was typo or real thing and haven't done research on it.

there are a few "vintage machines" made by singer also listed.

Singer Featherweight Sewing Machine With Case (Green Valley Sahuarita): he is asking $300.

sewing machine #221 - $275 (Reed Park area)

    Singer Sewing machine 1893 - $200 (Northwest)

Vintage Singer sewing machine - $75 (Tucson West): vintage metal one.

    1914 singer sewing machine - $80

singer sewing table w/ machine - $45 (Sunrise & Campbell): doesn't say much about the machine except it didn't come in the cabinet but is included.

    Antique Singer Sewing Machine 1912 - $295

    1800s treadle singer sewing machine - $175 (CT&S 601 E 24th st)

1956 Singer Sewing Machine and Cabinet * (E/Tsn)
