I took photos of a few fabrics in a friend's vintage quilt that I helped repair. Just wondering if any of these fabrics are feedsack fabric, or just some older fabrics. Owner (age 45) doesn't know if her grandma or aunt made the quilt.

Welcome to the Quilting Board!

To me, it looks like the white background with the little boy and lamb, the yellow print and maybe the red print are feedsack fabrics. I have several reproduction prints similar to these 3.

Yes, some of them look like feed sack. They are usually a little courser than cotton fabric from that period.

bet they feel rough, too...you can almost see how they were woven...

Thank you for your thoughts. I'll pass them along to the owner. She loves vintage items.

Seeing the pics brings back memories! I can remember my mom saving feed sack so she could make a blouse or dress for me when I was a little girl. The scraps she gave to my grandmother, who made quilts from them.
When someone mentions quilting, I go to pieces!
To my eye, all three of the white background printed fabrics look like feedsack, as does the pink roses on blue background. I think the gold and red prints may be feedsacks as well. The don't look like a coarse weave, but not all feedsacks had that coarse weave.
