I went to put the safety guard down on my circle rotary cutter so no one would get cut, when my index finger and thumb slipped down the blade instead. It was really fun trying to bandage my left fingers using only my right hand. :-(

Ouch. That doesn't sound like a whole lot of fun. Hope you didn't need stitches. Most importantly, will you still be able to sew? I did that once, but I was lucky. The blade was dull.

Ouch, my finger hurts in sympathy for you. Hope you're still able to sew!

That's why I like my Fiskars, all I have to do is push a button on it. I don't have another brand and I did that once trying to close the gaurd.

I hope it didn't need stitches. One good thing about it, the cuts are usally a good clean cut and not ragged, so the healing should be quicker.

Okay so I get home from work and go to take the dogs out and slam the next two fingers on my left hand in the door. Ouch. Swollen and black & blue. Now my poor pinkie is shaking in fear that she is next. lol
