Hi everyone, I am pooped from going to the quilt show and company!!!!
I want to post pics. of quilt show but my attic windows quilt top is finished, FINALLY except for borders. So My quilt goes first. I'm finished with the blocks. I have pictures showing the colors. Nooow what I need are oppinions on border color. I have blocks with white back ground going around the bottom and across the pillows. What I thought is would a pink border make the gray pop and the pink baskets and flowers? There is going to be a light gray miterd sash around left dark gray around bottom, Mitered of course,as they are on top and right of quilt top.So going with the colors in the blocks give me some input on colors for borders. I want it to touch the carpet. One day in future wooden floors are going to be sanded and shellaced. I want the cutains to be same color as border.
How does all this sound. I have worked very hard on this quilt. It is my first for myself.

What colour would you like to "see" when you come into your bedroom? If it's pink.....then that's a good choice for your borders...IMO....

And it needs a border because?? :?: I would just finish with the sashing on the bottom and left sides. The light gray pops just fine as is. It's a stunning quilt right now. Great job!!

Your quilt is lovely. I has a nice three dimensional feel to it. :D

I agree with nor'easter you have a beautiful quilt don't make the border take away from your quilt
