Default Fiskers vs Olfa Rotating Mat

I am going to purchase one of these rotating mats. So, all you seasoned quilters, which one is best? Anyone have either one of these? Thanks in advance for your comments.

I have a Fiscars... the cutting surface seems a bit hard , and does not seem to self heal as well as the Olfa.

Lori is right about the Fiskars surface. It is NOT the same self-healing substance as the Olfa and can dull your blades much more quickly. Olfa was the original, used for years in the engineering trade, and is still the best, in my opinion.

Olfa products are better than fiskars IMHO

I prefer the OLFA, use it all the time for cutting and trimming blocks

I prefer Olfa, but bought the Fiskars because of the price. I figured when the top needed replacing, I'd replace the top with a piece of an Olfa mat.

I have the Olfa - I got lucky and used one of JoAnn's coupons. BUT, I forget it turns and end up turning the piece anyhow. Old habits . . ..

Just bought a Fiskars 24"x26" cutting board. Hopefully it won't dull my blades!!! Also bought a Fiskars rotating board which I LOVE! Got both with 50% and 40% off coupons at Joann's!
