Flannel binding with mitered corners?
#1
I've finished hand quilting my newest (to be) GD quilt which is made of flannel and minky and backed with flannel. I always double the binding, machine stitching to the front then hand stitching on the back. I'm wondering if two layers of flannel is going to be too thick ... I'm especially concerned about the corners. Have any of you done the double binding in flannel with mitered corners?

You know, you're probably right. But I was so sick of the quilt by the time I finished quilting it and I didn't want anything - ANYTHING - to prevent me from finishing it and getting it out of my sight. You know how that is.
On the other flannel quilts (they were combos), I actually used regular cotton to bind and it was fine.
Next time I'll give it a chance.
