I have been asked to make a red and black quilt. What sites are good for checking out a good variety of certain colors? Not too expensive. I found one but didn't want to pay $9.00 a yard. Are there any that you can get maybe scrap bags of certain colors or just order 1/4 yards?
Thanks, Elaine

Whittle's Fabrics.com is my favorite. Also Fat Quarter Shop is a good one.

fabric.com You can search for their remnant box 3 pounds for $16.98 (about 9 yards), no choice in colors but fabulous cotton fabrics. Free shipping over $35.

Fabric.com also has a "clearance" section where you can find fabric by color ... many less than $5/yd. Also check out their 20%-30%-50% off section. You may get lucky there, too. They are my FAVORITE source for high-quality fabrics at reasonable prices.

There is a place called Ann's Fabric and Crafts. It is in New Hampshire. They are very reasonable.
